My friend and I are coming up with an idea for a new manga. The basic concept is a real elf gets transported to our time...but the twist is, he ends up at a Renaissance Festival and doesn't realize he's in a different era at all but keeps seeing odd things like cameras and modern clothing and such.Nothing has been done with it yet but some storyline and I'm working on concept sketches of the characters and this one here is the main elf who isn't a typical elf in the sense that he's very energetic, very curious, and likes to poke his nose into things.
We're bouncing names around but Anaryan Runya Hellvedar seems like the most possible pick at the moment.

Great job on the coloring, and the costuming and hair are great as well. I also like the crumpled paper effect on the background but not on him. The perspective on the right leg (his right) is a little off, but it isn't glaring---it just needs to get a little wider towards the knee, and taper in a bit more towards the foot and the pelvis. Also, the pinky on his left hand is turned sideways---you should be able to see the coil of the closed finger. However, the leaves and the patterning are very elegant, and the pose is dynamic. The flow of the hair is great too.
Foreshortening is a pain, I know. Think of the body as cylinders, that taper, like cups. Actually, cups are helpful to practice drawing for this sort of perspective stuff.

The story sounds so good! I mean, I've heard of a million "other-worldly person gets transported to present world" stories, but you add a good twist with the whole Renaissance Festival thing! Awesomeness! *^.^*
I think I saw the line-art for this! Well, it all looks perfect! ^.^ All of the colours stand out really nicely, but go well together too! The background looks so nice too, the vines are so prettyful! *^.^* Awesome Job!

Onto the important stuff. Great idea for the background, (The paper crumpling) It looks really neat. The background colors are really complimentary of his bright hair. I think there might be a tiny proportion problem with his arm, but then again I might just be insane. Over all Verry nicely done and I hope to see more of him. He's just so darn cute. *w*

I just made an Elf OC name Thaesi Falx and I guess her clothes really don't look that of an elf but it's ok xD I really like his design and it's a good change to see an energetic elf xD

The concept for the manga reminds me a lot of the movie Just Visiting--just replace a Lord and His vassel from the middle ages into new york.
