What brand of pencil do you use?
I don't use pencils, but if I did, would you recommend that brand?

I make a lot of mistakes when I draw,
but it's hard to erase since I apply ample force on pencil and leads.
Do you have any tips that may help to remedy this?

Yes, google electric erasers, they are tiny ones like a remote controller, that uses 2 doublΓ© aa batteries, i have a stadler one, they are around 10 dollars, and i can warranty you, they will erase them.
