Pfew. This was a super hard page to draw. I would have loved to show the actual cutting of Javill's hair, or his 0.0" reaction, but I had to wrap up the scene in this page...8 Panels is already quite a lot and I changed all of them at least trice. Aaaah!
Before you ask: YES cutting hair is a very big deal for Alar, I will get back to that in the comic.
Well I managed somehow, and I hope that what happens in the page makes sense
. I already mentioned it briefly, but this is the last page of this particular scene. Next week we'll see more of Neburas and his pack, where they will pay "his bird" a visit.

In the fifth panel, the other guys face and hand look disfigured a little.

I can completely relate to that ^_^. I always wanted to have a big brother (though I love my two kick-ass sisters). I ended up writing the fictional brother I never had I think

The scene came across great, I got the impression right away that cutting the hair was an insult or something from the way it was focused on, but Javill really deserved it for continuing being a brat >_>; He seems to be the sort of character who talks first and thinks much later
That poor tree didn't deserve anything though XD;

uuuuuuuu I like this page a lot. c: I can't wait to see the full consequences of cutting of the braid, though I already liked the last bit about showing him how to be different.

I have yet to comment on the whole comic so far, so I will now. I absolutely adore this. Honestly, I find it extremely difficult being an avid book reader to get into comics but this one really does hit the mark for me. I the drawings are beautiful and semi-realistic, the colouring exquisite, and the story line has really got me coming back avidly every thursday without fail. If this was to be published as a proper book I would pay for this. This is top quality
