Kira is now officialy alive, he is under Kurotsuchi's care. Kubo will probably give him his severed arm back, but we yet to see Kira healed. Meanwile I can use the lost limbs for a joke. As for Gin, there was no funeral, so in my headcanon he is alive.
Ambidexter is a person who is both right and left handed. Kira held his sword in left hand a few times in the anime (can be an animator's error, doesn't change the fact).

Maybe it is foolish but I keep waiting for Gin to turn up. After all the other characters have survived far worse injuries. I despise Kubo...This is very cute.

I'm waiting too... Logically, Gin should appear. There is a place for him in the narrative. Unfortunetely, Kubo is not interested in the story anymore, he simply stretches the manga because there is always a chance a new series won't be a hit. So the chance is not big.

There is a novel about Kira that is not yet translated into English. Kubo drew an illustration. Kira might as well end up a kiborg of sorts, knowing Mayuri. We'll have to wait. static.diary.ru/userdir/9/1/8/…

30 pages or so novel, mainly about Kira. It was written by a professional novelist, who did write for Bleach before. Kubo approves of him, so it's kind of canon-ish? We will see, when the story is translated.
