Description Almost 90% of this piece is not my original work! The background is from Eragon's guide to Alagaesia, the main part of Saphira's body is from a swedish book cover, and her head is obviously from the original book cover so yee, credit goes to all the artists who created those pieces! I put them together though to come up with a picture of Saphira as a whole as an idea of how I think she looks in the books (And yes, the little Eragon at her feet was made from Heromachine 2.5!)

I like it how Saphira looks like on the Eragon book's cover and not like in the movie (like most pics of her), and still looking beautiful. Nice work

The only thing I don't like about Inheritance Cycle is they know nothing about reptiles at all. I mean, horse-faced dragons? They're alright, but would look awesome with scarier-looking heads.Β thegamershub.net/2012/11/level…

You have no knowledge of how people thought in old times, do you? I've read a description of a sea serpent to have a horse-like head. Same with dragons. This is medieval times we're talking about.

-Sigh-
Dragons are reptiles.
We are not medieval people, and neither was the creator of TIC.
I'm not ignoring medieval thoughts, I'm questioning them. So, if I make a story about, well, dinosaurs, I have to use the way they saw the world? No, my story would be terrible for human readers. Anyway, for each text refering to Dragons as winged horses (i'm not including sea serpents because they're not dragons ) three or four more refer to them as huge, fire-breathing, slithering reptiles. And if they're reptiles, you do not put a horse head on them.

That's nice. But dragons are mythical creatures. We can say whatever the fuck we want about them.

That was my original point, lol. It's just that, in my opinion (and many others) dragons aren't as cool when they look like horses.
