So I'm drawing, right? And Jason notices for a split second, before I can hide it and pretend I'm not a weirdo. (Good thing he already knows.) Of course when he asks, I have to tell him, "Oh. Uh. Genderbent Coby and Helmeppo." to which he replies, "They look the same."Which is the point, so we're cool.
Genderbending is fun. Especially when it's canon. (I mean, Cobymeppo haven't been bent, but to be honest I was surprised Iva didn't just start changing people left and right on the battlefield (what better way to stop soldiers than cause a hormonal emotional breakdown?) and those two would have been right in his path.)
Notes: First time drawing Iva = fun. I can NEVER draw Luffy right! Somehow. The sketches were all drawn at different times, so the styles differ a bit. I like Coby, but I want to draw Helmeppo more! I love that butt-chin. XD I forgot a bunch of stuff (like Coby's scarf) in some of them, but OH WELL.
And I'm in love with brown lineart. Maybe this will sate my need to draw stupidity for a while?

Yeah... I was consistently disappointed with Ivankov's involvement on the field... I think it was one of those manga to anime deals where things progress so much faster in the manga but in the anime it ends up looking like people are just standing around doing nothing because some scene gets drawn out so long XD. In my opinion anyway... but i could have even seen some more death winks, genderbending aside.
The idea's great, and all the scenarios are brilliant! If anyone would get genderbent and not know what breasts even where, it would be these two XD! "Can I touch them?" Oh goodness, too funny! And even Ivankov not being able to tell they were genderbent, that really drives the point home. Great first Iva! She's such an epic challenge, but you did great! I think Luffy looks dandy... I'm rarely happy with my Luffy's either, Oda's Luffy just always looks so much better, but I think yours isn't bad. I mean, we can all tell it's luffy, and the eyes are spot on. As well as his big smile and his physique. AND OF COURSE LUFFY WOULDN'T NOTICE XD!!! That may be my favorite one... Luffy's ridiculous... yet oh so endearing. The admiral nightmare is also funny. Poor Coby! Nothing can stop your dream, you'll get there one day, female or male XD. And Helmeppo sweetly telling him to lay back down 
You captured their cluelessness perfectly and I didn't even notice things like the missing scar until I read the comment. It doesn't detract from the pic at all. Brown lineart IS really awesome... I wonder why... it's just more exciting than black, and I guess more realistic... since we don't actually have black outlines XD! But it's a really great technique!

Haha well I looked it up after I posted it, and I don't know if there are any female Admirals yet, but there's Tsuru, who I think is a Vice-admiral, so I don't see why not. ^^
