Amazing effects Gene, on a refined and sober night brightly lit in the middle !! What strikes me straight away, is this road that seems to float in the air or pour like a liquid : this result is truly awesome, because it generates a double sense of reading, you can see the road going down or up, both work, and creates a magic visual trick !! What's more I love how the light is reflected on it, that offer a smooth material to it, all in tasty details. You draw lines of speed on it that hightlight the turns, bring movement, and make travell our eyes, while it convey an intense delight, our heart at race. It enables to play with the empy spaces and full ones, because the dark areas take shapes and show us the mountain in a subtle and elegant way, because it melts with the petrol background, and that is pretty smart indeed !! Furthemore, the sinusoidal road make our glance climb up the moon, and take a nebula bus towards the Infinte, throught twinkles and glitters of the stars map, escorted by shooting ones. This monochrome is so well balanced between deep saphir and ice blue, blowing the cold of the night in a magestic way but you warm smartly the atmosphere with some toniques of orange that pop in the core of it, introducing glows in the middle of you vertical canvas, making a pause in the journey, to contemplate the moon, before pursuing this spectacular ascension. Also, the subtle chromatic palette you use on the road especially the pale pink, enhance immediately your whole wallpaper pigment, just so clever Gene !! Powerful effects, for a mesmerising and poetic night.
