Thank you! I love a bit of animal pattern for the summer, particularly if it doesn't involve cruelty to animals!

I wonder if it is possible to bead this kind of things, with holes in it, not as much as a lace, but to occasionally incorporate holes into this kind of tightly knit design? Make it look tattered^^...
It's really lovely, simple is cool! lovely feeling!

That's an interesting idea. Shaping Peyote is definitely possible, though a truly ragged look would take some planning... Thanks!

I love this... the stripes are so realistic... and the off center pattern is absolutely perfect!!! Lots of visual interest there, makes you want to stare!!! Awesome!!!

Thanks so much! I really liked the organic feel of the finished piece, despite the fact that the beads always make it look a little pixellated...

That's a given... sometimes we look too closely at our own work instead of stepping back and looking at the piece as a whole... you got the effect you were shooting for and then some... the 'pixels' are not what catches the eye!!! It's a great piece!!!

Normally I'm not a big fan of animal prints, but this is quite excellent! I"d wear it.

Ja, die 15er sind wirklich ziemlich winzig, aber so sehen die Muster glatter aus. Freue mich, dass Dir das Zebra gefaellt.

Wonderful work, as always, Elly ;D My one and only zebra cuff was done in gold and silver. They are fun to bead.

With the 15s the pattern looks less pixellated than it would have with 11 delicas, I think...

Thanks for noticing the detail with the asymmetrical seam. Some zebra designs can look a little dull, but having the stripes run together like that added some interest and an organic feel to me. Like the idea of a "fade", and the tree colors make such a good summer trio.
As for lions, and as you can probably attest yourself, they are just too much fun to draw, and once you are hooked - well you know the rest!

It's officially Elly Day in my comments!
I've one more lion to do (our Christmas card this year, actually) before tackling the reference photo I shared with you, but I greatly look forward to that one. It inspires the same (for lack of a better term) magical buzz that I felt before sitting down to dear "Je Maintiendrai" and "Sun King." It's so nice when you can feel a good one coming!

Thank you. It was a bit of an impulse buy at Nine West. They even have artificial "fur" on them, and red leather on the inside... Quite a statement.
