You're a pretty intense drawer... keep up the work like this and you'll be going places...
I think the only thing you'd need to work on is to just keeping on track, and be a persistent artist.

hahaha... Don't overestimate me either! lol
I'm still quite the newb myself! I can bet that I take about 4 times longer than you do on any given piece as well! Personally though, I think your work reminds me a lot of my own... similar interests and all, except I just put a heckuva lot more time into it I feel... That's why I said you need to try and go all out at times--make a good idea great, and a great idea awesome!
If ya really think Iām better than you though, I can give you some critiques sometime if you really want it, but I expect the same from you when it comes to my up-loads... hehe.
You take it easy now.

lol, k then, I love critiques........but then I don't get many......I critique alot, but only if it hasn't already been said, no point in stating something twice

Critique is actually very good for you, because now your the teacher, and it really forces you to know what your talking about, because... you don't want to sound stupid now do you?
Also, a habitual critic will naturally focus on the details, basics, and construction of what they are observing... They come to understand things a bit better than others... and every time they critique they are forced to remember, or are reminded of things they might have overlooked in their own work.
I can tell you are a bit like that... infact... in a few ways, I can see things that you do much better than me, or are more conscious of when creating your artwork.

I used to pose a lot in a mirror, helped LOADS! But, I haven't had that opportunity for a long time since I don't own a personal mirror... This deployment has taken a lot of those small luxuries away from me... including large luxuries like time to even draw for that matter... I haven't hardly been able to draw for almost half a year now...
Son-of-a...
But Boy! You have no idea how long that shading takes me... NO idea...

I'm Army... National Guard. I hope to be a civilian again soon though.
The shading takes about 95+% of the time with my art.

Wooow, that's amazing! I love how you drew his head. The fur standing up on the back of his head is textured so well! Like =GearOtter stated, the anatomy looks great! His outfit is intricate and extremely detailed. The positioning of his sword looks very relaxed; by the way, the sword looks very nice, too. The folds and shadows in his clothing are so awesome!
