While yes it's a beautiful piece; going off star trek lore this is not normal for Vulcans. They hide their emotions, not show it.

Not all vulcans accept standard ideology, especially half-blood persons, but every seven years classical vulcans can show their feelings to their partners

There are even some that think Vulcans are a little more lenient in private with their mates. Granted I think being telepathically bonded to a half Betazoid would render some interesting side effects. lol
