This little fellow almost got run over by a car on Friday. I took him with me and put him in our garden so he wouldn't be able to walk onto the street anymore.He was really scared, but seemed to be fine again soon after. Too bad he went into our neighbour's garden after something around an hour... I sure hope they'll take him to a forest where he can be released into the wild again.
Though it sure is hard to part from something THAT cute

We used to have a lot of hedgehogs fall into our old garden. (we once lived in a tiny house with a small concrete yard that was surrounded by our neighbours' grass gardens. They were strangely elevated compared to our yard O.o) So we'd often have to help them out and back into a grassy area. My mum used to pick them up using a tennis racket since they're so spikey xD

It's ok if you pick them up by grabbing their sides first. I've done it like that and it didn't really hurt much

Any way is a great way to save a life of the helpless. You gave the little guy a chance and thats the greatest gift. Most would drive by and look the other way. You made a difference in his life.
