you'd probably have to be a pirate yourself XPone piece is something that is very difficult to make either romantic or gothic, since it's neither, but with the new Thriller Bark arc, i just couldn't resist. cuz OP pwns. ><
the dress itself is actually a derivation from one of the Thriller Bark color spreads.
this is the Halloween special, which means that even though there is a close up for ye lazy boys here: [link] you are also welcome to download the original wallpaper size. hence, fugly watermark.
btw, first time drawing a lot of things, espeicially abs haha. so if something's not right, tell meh.

Ah.. I love how Nami's hair came out. Her eyes and lips, too.
So many great details on the clothing, and that background is incredible. The moon and twilight against the shadowed clouds and towers makes for such a thematic, Thriller Barkish atmosphere. Good choice on the outfits, too. Dark Pirate King with his black queen.

Wow, this is really awesome. The BG is great and really gothic and the clock rocks. Luffy's mouth look a bit too askew, though but his awesome abs make up for that! XD

haha thanks. yeah i was really going for that look and i do love that clock ^^. i kind of tried to go for the lopsided grin, but oh well if that didn't turn out as planned. thanks, the abs took me forever to get right, but it was worth it.

Oooh, this is nice! I love how vivid the colours are in contrast to the pitch-black. :3 And the details on the clothing (especially the golden Jolly Roger buttons) are amazing.

actually, the clock was what i saved for last, and i had no idea it would come out as good as it did cuz it was just a bunch of circles at the time lol. i just improvised, but it did take me several layers.
