The day a dragon returned part 7

I was awoken on Monday morning by my alarm clock which I forgot to disable the settings on. It was supposed to go off on weekdays but I won't be needing it again I reach to hit the button to sience it but upon contact my hand felt weird I look at them only to sit up in bed wide eyed my hands looked human but my nails were human like claws and I had no scales anywhere. I jump to my almost human legs and feet, my legs were digigrade still and my toes were clawed like my hands. I still had my wings and tail though they were smaller and still scaly. I regained my height of 5'8" this time while standing on two legs. Looking in a full body mirror I gasp (my face) I had my human face though i now had Long elf ears and could now talk and was now naked I quickly went to my drawers and got some clothes I had to make a few adjustments to the pants and underwear, I cut a hole in both for my tail and cut slits in my shirt for my wings. I then practice walking on my legs before going down stairs with a smile on my face I enter the kitchen where my mom and dad are. Mom almost faints and dad spills a bit of his coffee I must be a sight for sore eyes a kid with wings, a tail and elf ears we have a bit of a happy moment then they ask me how I changed back well almost.

I tell them I woke up like this and that I don't know how it happened, mom then gets that gleam in her eyes and is staring right at me. (ut oh) I think it's time to go I get up to go but as fast as a snake she grabs the back of my neck and says not so fast I can hear my dad snicker as he try's not to laugh as I'm dragged to her work room. In her work room she grabs her cloth measuring tape and starts measuring me wings and all when she finally lets me go I get some breakfast. Grabbing a bowl I pour cocoa pebbles I add milk and start to eat when I finish I go ask mom if I can go outside to which she says stay away from people which means yes. On my way out my father follows me out headed to work I ask to which he nods I then open my wings all the way and start flapping flying as a human-elf was a little harder than as a dragon but I managed I flew to town and landed in a ally. I tucked my wings close then I hid them by putting my shirt over them not much I can do about my tail though walking around town not many people say anything just give me funny looks I was going to the comic book store I got there in 5 minutes and walk in my favorites are marvel I'm a regular customer so the guy here knows me though he was shocked at my appearance you Elimist have been reading to many marvel its grown on you he try's to keep a straight face but can't as he laughs at his joke are you interested in the lord of the rings he saids laughing again I just wave him off and head to the marvel comics siting on a beanbag I read for most of the day mostly all the new ones when I'm done it's 3:25 so I get up wave and goodbye I go back to the ally open my wings and fly.

I flew to the park and landed in the tree I slept by. Looking down I see kids playing on the playground and older kids skipping rocks on the river I see Daniel there as well and go over to him. Hi I say I'm sorry for scaring you but you shouldn't touch a sleeping dragon. He looks at me and says how do you know about that? (This guy didn't hear a single part of my apology) sighing I said I'm sorry for scaring you he seemed to notice my wings now and steps backwards eyes wide your, your he stutters the dragon you touched I finished for him, he then slowly reaches for my wings which I open up making him stop. Go on I don't bite I say bearing my sharp teeth a little, while keeping a eye on my teeth he touches my wing with his cold hand making me shiver it's real he says and pulls his hand back. The other kids at the river see this and are looking at me I shift my gaze to them and bear my teeth while hunching over causing a chill to go through my body then scales start coming out of my skin all over my body my face pushed out and all my features returned causing me to become quadruple and my clothes to tighten on my body. (So that's how it happened) I thought, the kids then start to run Daniel being a bit braver starts petting me causing me to jump a little in surprise and back away from him. (Woah i didn't say that you could pet me though) I had forgotten that I couldn't talk in this form so it came out as a bunch of growls startling him then I run and jump into the air headed towards home
