And two princesses!

Since I finally managed to finish the "official" dresses for my moon royalties, I thought I should just show them off together! And no, they were not drawn for this purpose, so no need to comment on the fact that they don't seem to fit each other very well! The first of these was drawn in March, and the last one yesterday, so it goes to figure that they will not be uniform! Some day, though, I plan to draw them all together! When I actually manage to draw group pictures!

Also, haha, a chance to talk a little about my favourite girls!

Queen Selenity: My first moon queen (mother of moon queen Serenity), and although she is at the top of my moon legacy, she's not by far the first in general (That would be Selena, remember?) Never the one to make a fuss, Selenity appears to be a withdrawn and quiet woman to the outside world, and her rule was much like it. She was steel wrapped in velvet, rarely showing the harder side of herself.

Princess Blue Moon Selenity/Leni: Existing only in a blink of a moment, Blue Moon Leni never got around to become queen. As a princess she was shy, unsure and careful, always longing to be beautiful and brave like her mother and big sister (Neo Queen Serenity and Lady Serenity).

Princess Selenity/The golden princess: Rightful heir to the throne, and the oldest daughter of Queen Lady Serenity, Selenity "ruled" (pro-forma only, she never had a proper coronation) with her grandmother as her guide and ruler-consort. She never really got a chance to show what she could do as queen, she was too busy trying to fight the war. In the end she disappear, leaving only Xantara left.

Queen Xantara: The only one of the moon line left after the battle with Chaos, she ascended the throne somewhat late in life, waiting for her sister to come back and claim her place. When she finally did, she became known as the silent queen of Crystal Tokyo, as she never spoke. She couldn't use the moon crystal directly, and never truly felt that she was a proper queen. Therefore she often was found down with her subjects, moving among, and with, them as one of their own. She was never afraid of getting her hands dirty (not a metaphor for killing y'all!), and always ready to do her part of what needed to be done to rebuild crystal tokyo.

Queen Selene: Quite different from her mother (Queen Xantara) in many ways, Selene was never "one of the people". Her motto is "all or nothing", so either she was going to be a proper queen, or not one at all. She's a strict ruler, and a firm believer in the laws (oddly ironic, considering her escapades in her youth), but she is always fair, and always keeps her word. Unlike her mother she can be quite vocal, and not afraid to deal out a tongue-lashing if it's needed. But luckily, she has a great sense of humour that is never far away.

Queen Serenity IV/Peach: As a queen, Peach is much like her grandmother, although there is never any doubt in her mind that she is indeed born to be queen. She loves all the parts that comes with royalty, from the grand ceremonies to the pretty dresses. She rules with her prince-consort by her side, and together they bring the rule of Crystal Tokyo into a golden age.
