It came out beautifully! What was the fabric type? Did you use pure silk, or was it a poly silk?

Thanks! It was duponi silk. Really lightweight, shimmery, with lots of texture running through it. I found it online.

I mixed up the dye with boiling water in a plastic tub, then quickly dipped the whole dress. Then i lowered the dress into the dye so from the waist down was in the dye. After 10 minutes, i raised up the dress so a little more was out of the dye... and did this maybe 5 times. Whatever part you want darkest, needs to stay in the dye the longest. Make sure you buy the right kind of dye for your fabric.
