ok then, here's a new one. I'm not sure if this is a wip or not, cause originally I wanted to draw the ecxact excerpt as in my ref-pic, but I kinda screw it up (...again
) and now here's the part that's still looking ok. In fact I guess I could save the rest, but I'm not sure I'm will ing to

She is so beautiful as is your talent. I draw abstract art so I'm not really an artist at all -at least not compared to you. Perhaps I should try to do something like this. Where should I start..... how frustrating. I think I will look at this and try to do my best -if it is only a percent as good as yours I will have accomplished something.

hey u have great control over shades and tonal values . y dont you use grid for the sketch???? it is not as bad as killing a fly!

I do use grids now in almost all of my drawings, at least most portraits, cause they need to be really accurate.
In this special drawing I got kinda bored and intimidated be the hair and ear part, as far as I remember
