Description
So finally, at long last, I can introduce to the godliness of all my characters of my comic book The Elements © Eros

The previous comic's I had him appear in were not quite golden. Now this is very 'on model' (profile) I'm been throwing together a bunch of ideas to bring this godly man to life- He IS the main character next to Cerridwen, after all.

His design, is a compilation of ALL my favourite men:

-Nathan Fillion ('Mal' from Firelfy) [link]

-David Boreanaz ('Angel' from Buffy/Angel and 'Booth' from BONES) [link]

-Josh Hollaway ('Sawyer' from Lost) [link]

-Nikolaj Coster Waldau ( Jaime Lannister from HBO's Game of Thrones) [link]

Actual Nikolaj Coster Waldau is VERY close to Eros' design, except his hair is more wild and unkempt like Sawyer's.

Either way; I love Eros. He is my dream man. Even though he's an ass through most of the comic.. well a cranky one. Which is why Kat gave him the nickname “ Captain Crust.” and some other not-so nice names...

As for his character, he's the other reason the comic is rated Mature. (aside from the gore and violence) He swears. A lot.

His VERY first appearance in the comic is actually BEFORE any of the Elements are introduced, in the Prologue chapter (13 pages) “Prelude to War' but you see him as adorable baby. ( I still squee when I draw him as a wittle baby) His second appearance, before the Elements is a glimpse of him outside electronic shop that casting the news report about the missing people, AND then at the end of the Chapter 1.0 'May Fate Guide My Steps where Cerridwen runs into him accidently, after blowing up a warehouse full of demons, at the end of the chapter.
Chapter 1.5 is ALL Eros- since the both of the chapters 1.0 and 1.5 are within the same time period of each other. But 1.0 is Cerridwen's POV while 1.5 is Eros' POV. But you learn he's a demon hunter on his personal vendetta to hunt down a very powerful demon (Moira) and that he's also a Blacksmith and forges all of his own weapons. But he melds both Alchemical and the Dark Arts into his weapons, creating some very unique and VERY powerful weapons.

Cerridwen and Eros really don't officially meet, till Chapter 4: Balor of the Evil Eye and I'm not going to spoil it... but these two DESPISE each other... in a very violent and mildly entertaining way. Which also starts the 'tension' between them. I wanted these characters to have a relentless sizzling, but chaotic chemistry. And from writing out the scripts and preparing for official comic launch... I believe I have actually accomplished that.

He's calculating, cunning, while very sharp and strategic in both battle and his creations, impatient and very loyal to those close to him but having a stony, crotchety and arrogant exterior. (which is followed by the drop-dead gorgeous-ness) Cerridwen and him are quite similar; although she's explosive with her short-temper, and she does really have many strategic abilities since she follows her instinct and charges like a enraged bull into battle....

And well Eros' job is to basically.... TRY to put a leash on her.. “Tame her Flame”

And Cerridwen's exact words for this piece is:

“Go ahead, Hunter. 'Tame' my Flame.

I'll post some other examples on just how wonderful these two are, soon. Hehehehe....
