I don’t normally upload off site commissions, but this one I particularly like. I might play with the background a little more tomorrow, but naw… I’m pretty happy with how it is. ^^Any critiques are welcome, though the characters are supposed to look too large.
By the way, the dogs are (from top to bottom) a 3/4 husky wolf hybrid, a 3/4 GSD wolf hybrid and a shetland sheepdog.

Awesome. The background is really wonderful in this piece here. The bluish blur effect and the way you did it at all create a nice atmosphere here. The characters are done pretty well too

That is a simply beautiful background. I have to ask, how did you create those ferny (and such like) effects?
I'm also really liking the fur texture on those two dogs.

The trees were done using custom brushes, mostly from this set I think, [link] and then painted over the top to define the limbs/leaves more.

So, the method wasn't quite so complicated as it looks then? I love it when that happens - although I know damn well that the skill of the artist is even more important than how good the brush is. :3

I smiled when I saw the middle one. You should check out info on Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs. Might sound familiar because that was my favorite breed to raise on FP if you remember. ^_^

Hehe yeah I think a 3/4 wolf GSD mix is pretty much a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog. Darn... thinking about it, I could have just looked up them for his anatomy. That would have saved time, oh well.

*has collie spaz* Gorgeous canines are gorgeous! Though, assuming the bottom dog is in fact a rough collie, the bridge of the nose isn't so defined. (And as a present collie owner, I speak form experience.) Besides that, everything is immaculate, and I'm yearning for your epicness. ;3;

Oh I should have mentioned the breeds. She's a shetland sheep dog (so hopefully she looks fine). The other two are are 3/4 wolf/GSD and wolf/husky. Personally though I hate drawing these double coated dogs, they are hard for me to draw.
