I painted this a while back and it was inspired by a lot of deviations here on dA as well as by ~PeriosRosentwyg .

I also recently had an encounter with one, the beautiful fellow crossed the street almost right in front of our car in the early evening hours. He was trotting in a quite relaxed manner, despite the moving car. He watched us very attentively, though, and he seemed very experienced (which of course makes sense, because that's quite a busy street). It was still awesome.

Now I want to paint more foxes!
