i finished this like ten days ago and forgot to upload it anywhere WHOOPSanyway i FINALLY found a halfway-decent band-aid fix for The Bullshit my tablet's been pulling for the past... eighteen months... so with any damned luck i'll actually be drawing things now! incredible!!
I decided to get back into the swing of things by actually giving Zero the redesign he's been deserving for years now. I don't think I've... everΒ done a proper full-scale high effort drawing of him so lord knows the poor boy deserves it. I'm finally happy with where his design is at; it looks properly Japanese now instead of the weird hardly-researched jumble it was before, and it gives off the high class/imperial air I always wanted from him. I'm so pleased with it.
as for the drawing itself, it was kind of a weird one since the lineart and a tiny fraction of the shading were done before I found the fix, so there's definitely some janky bits here and there. overall though I love it. it feels so good to be drawing again.

Your dark matter gjinkas are so elegant!! I love your style so much, and the clothing choices really give zero a lot of personality. At least compared to mine, lol,,,, all my dm gjinkas look like they were rejected silent hill models

Ahh thank you!! Dark Matter in general are some of my favourite Kirby characters so they definitely tend to get a generous helping of effort when it comes to gijinka time XD Especially 02. He's one of my oldest gijinkas of the bunch and therefore has had a looot of work on him.

My guess for the easter eggs are the red spider lilies and the jewels on his belt, forward call for Zero Two ? (thinking emoji)

Ahh good work spotting the spider lilies! They're the first easter egg, and it seems like they're the slightly harder to spot one. ^^
I don't count the jewels as an easter egg honestly, but you're correct in saying it's a call-forward to 02. It's more of a reference imo~
