had commissioned me to draw his characters. This was back in summer. I was struck with a terrible art block that last 4 months. But I managed to finish it. I was sorry it took me so long!

I hope the background doesn't distract to much. I tried to tone it down but then it looked washed out. The cityscape in the background was taken by myself in Shanghai, China in 2010. Hence the title, "Shanghai Warriors". They're not Chinese by the way. But merely there on assignment.

These characters were actually difficult to draw. I came up with sketches but the only thing to was have them heroically posing.
