As always elder, a beautiful piece, simply astonishing. The detail is fantastic, yet soft enough to seem almost an oil painting from hundreds of years ago. I liked the details on the knight, the delicate work in the armor and helmet, the pennant on the lance, which is rare to see in paintings, though from my understanding it was standard practice to mark one's lance in such a way to show ones house.
The one thing out of place here, and you've made it seem almost natural, is the barbed wire fence. Barbed wire, or wire fencing of any sort, didn't come about until WWI to catch up soldiers and slow them down when crossing between trenches so the machine guns could tear the formations apart and kill thousands of men. It is strange to see it in the picture now, unless you are perhaps trying for a post-apocalyptic scenario, but if you are going for that then perhaps something else might be advantageous for the portrait, such as a rusted out tank with its barrel bent, a mound of flowers and grass growing over the hull and treads, a remnant of a bygone age before dragons...
Regardless of its incongruity, it still adds a lot to the picture, and allows people to see the amazing detail behind the fence, which would be lost if the fence were a stone wall for example, or a split rail fence.
I really liked the dragon. It's majestic form, the fierce battlecry, the great gout of flame rising to the leaden sky summoning any challenger to battle is astonishing.
Your piece is fantastic, as expected, and you really delivered a dynamic, unique and fantastic work. Great job!

Thanks! It´s a fantasy painting, so the wire fence is ok for me (It´s more of a stylistic choice here, as I wanted a fence to have a border, but it shouldn´t be too prominent like a fence made of wood as it would distract too much). In a truly medieval era, yes, it would not be appropriate
