Marco Simoncelli puts on a show for the fans at the end of the qualifying session for the Donington Park round of the 2009 MotoGP season.Edit: 23/10/2011 Sadly, Marco passed away due to injuries sustained in a freak crash during the opening stages of today's Malaysian MotoGP race at Sepang circuit. Words cannot begin to express how MotoGP and racing fans are feeling today...

So many news articles don't portray his life in way too many more words, and I feel like this picture is enough. Don't remember him for his last moments, but everything else.
He was a great rider, he knew the crowd was there for him, he knew to just keep going.
Two wheels or four wheels, he's one of the greats from the Racing Community.

God, I saw his accident on TV this morning. I've never watched MotoGP, but I happened to watch it today and... It totally freaked me out. I can't stop thinking of him falling by his motorcycle and lying down on the asphalt. He was so young, he loved life and he loved motorcycling. R.I.P. Marco.
