So... this took a lot of research and time.

This is an After Effects animation, frame-by-frame and time remapped for pixel motion frame blending. I gave it a grain filter because I thought it was cool how it made it look like it was camera-shot by night

Aeden, a shape-shifting character of mine in horse form, upon realizing he had finally lost everything.

Note: I am in the process of editing this animation, which includes both adding frames and general tweaking, so keep an eye out for the final product

This is incredible. Really smooth!

The only thing I'd add is that there's a moment when the back legs seem to be in the same position, and that the left one looks like it should come forward a bit more when he brings it up.

Looks excellent though!

The same position? That may be the loop. I accidentally duplicated the final frame

I made an animation almost like this, but quite different. Where you made your animation slow and smooth, mine is a bit rough, but much faster. I love the way you smoothed up even the shadows
Here's mine~ [link] And I'm really not that good at these, but I knowtist the faster it goes, and how, or where the light comes from can make it look really realistic. And yes, mine still have a lighter outline. But yours looks really awesome!

Thank you!
Yours is a great start. I like your setting, and the horse anatomy seems pretty good. I especially like the overall blue tone you've established My main suggestions would be to, overall, add more frames (that would help with the smoothness of the animation), and make the front legs stretch forward a little more, almost like they're reaching for the ground ahead to grab it and pull it towards them. Their motion seems a little stiff and bent. I also noticed that the head hardly moves. For the pace at which your horse is going, there will be a lot of head motion, ducking and rising and reaching forward. Your horse may be moving faster, but I feel like there's not as much motion as there should be.
I suggest going on youtube, watching a few videos of a horse galloping or cantering, whatever pace you want. Take mental notes. Sketch, even. I know that animations are such a long and drawn out process, and motivating yourself to go back and work on an animation that you've already completed once can be really hard to do (hence the reason I haven't finished fixing this one yet ), but I really think it would be worth it.

Thanks so Much! I will try and follow your advice! And hope to become as good as you.

I have a few horses, I'm just all new at making animations, so I was still a bit clueless But thanks, your advise helps a lot.
Yeah, It really would be worth it!
