Description
At first I didn't notice it was there,
a feeling hidden deep down inside of me,
sleeping as if it were a bear
hiding away where no one can see.

Finally it was found
by a spark that woke it up
to my heart it was bound
blossoming like a tulip.

I wanted to address
this that was eating away at me so
but my heart was saying yes
while my head said no.

I thought I was amiss,
it would never work out,
but then there was the kiss
that got rid of all my doubt.

So happy I could fly,
do flip after flip through the air.
Never again would I cry,
not here not anywhere.

And yet things were not as the should've been
and I had not the slightest idea why.
Then the unthinkable had started to begin
tears fell from each eye.

There were no answers to the questions I inquired
for he turned them all away.
Would I ever know what transpired
if he would not say?

Then one day I confronted him,
he said I should know the truth.
I was not full of vim,
more like full of ruth.

I was so confused
and had not a clue of what to do.
I often found myself mused,
hoping for a breakthrough.

Soon my mind was clear
when he explained to me
the one thing I didn't want to hear,
we were never to be.

So now we try to fix
the friendship that was severed.
Side by side we put together the relics
and help our friendship last forever.
