Me last year: "2016 was a year of break-downs and breakthroughs, and while I'm not terribly hopeful for an easier 2017, I'm at least confident that I'll be strong or stubborn enough to get through it and heal from whatever damage I take."

You know, I wasn't actually too far off that time. This year's been rather a wild ride, but I am indeed stubborn enough that I've gotten through it and made some progress, even! Hopefully that trend continues but I'm not going to make any attempt to predict what it'll be like. Things are screwy enough as it is.

Skyrim book-ends! And if there's anything I've learned this month in particular, it's that I really need to do some expression practice. Turns out that being emotionally challenged in real life means that it's pretty hard to make a genuine smile look, well, genuine. Guess that'll be my new year's resolution.

And now, back to the commissions list. I've got one very stubborn Yuan-ti that doesn't want to smile properly and I don't know why. AGH.
