It's an easy way to start learning to draw a relatively realistic eye and evolve from there within your own artstyle.
It would've been great if there were a variety of angles to show what they do with the eye shape, especially for the beginners among us.
But it's not that hard using these basic rules to play around with the shape and trying out different things.
I've drawn many eyes already but it's always great to learn new techniques and simple tricks to make drawing easier and fun.
