I would love it if it turns out Blake's new hair cut is the result of some fight related incident seeing as so far she has been the only member of Team RWBY whose hair has been kept long and loose without concessions for safety in a fight. Ruby cuts hers short, Weiss ties hers out of the way, and Yang's hair is a force of nature unto itself so it does not count. Blake's, on the other hand, has been asking to be snagged or something since the Black Trailer.
