Destined to be a B&W square format classic, if there's any justice.

Congratulations on your DD!
I generally don't go for this type of composition, but this one is an exceptional example of the genre. It's not only the jagged geometry and its balance I like, it's the fact that it causes the eye to go in and out of the illusion of 3D. The photo reminds me that perceived dimensionality is an illusion. I am looking at a 2D representation of a 3D phenomenon captured through the 4th dimension. All of these qualities go in and out -- flatness to depth, stillness to the illusion of motion (and the cognition of motion). Remarkable job and DD well-deserved!

The 4th dimension is time, as you probably know. I should have been clearer about what I meant, which was that there is an implicit representation of the 4th dimension in a photograph because of the exposure time. There's also a more explicit 2D representation of the 4th dimension in that the picture captures a "slice" of time on the flat plane.
We do not have direct experience of the 4th dimension in our lives because we experience it via the persistence of memory (the way we experience the illusion of motion in a film via the persistence of vision). For me, pictures expose the illusion of my experience of time. Your picture works much like an M.C. Escher drawing.
