well, maybe those clouds are not so peaceful after all
it was the day before the kΓΆrperhΓΌllen shoot. I remember now that it was rain for all the week and more rain forecasted for the weekend. with this in mind we were really lucky on that Saturday, we didn't spend more like 15 minutes or so waiting in the car for the rain to stop ...

Well I always though this would apply more to the East coast, like the Appalachian Range which has the same geological age and actually was very close when the Atlantic Ocean was closed in the Triassic. California is way younger in geological terms - mmmhhh

But yes of course, if you'd been raised a few feet you could have brought its top down. Very close to perfect, though.
