Poza ta e mai reusita, dar la a mea imi place ca am prins-o cand ploua! Eu am facut-o cu un Kodak pentru amatori pe film, avea optiune de pozat noaptea (adica era expunerea nitzel mai lunga) am pus aparatul pe balustrada si am apasat!

Am vazut ca ploua , la tine sunt peroanele ceva mai 'luminoase' . Felicitari daca ai facut-o pe film , ma mira pe mine de ce nu vad exif-data-ul ca eram curios de expunere .

hm,de unde ai facut poza asta? e vreo pasarela pe acolo? ca mereu vad locul asta,dar din departare,de pe podul grant si de pe pod n-as fi putut sa fac poza...poate decat din tramvai,in mers,si n-ar fi iesit bine.imi place cum a iesit

I've been reading what ~Wiksten said, and I should agree on the critiques, but you don't have to worry: you've used the best settings for your camera, you only needed the tripod to get more sharpness. The photo actually looks really good, maybe just slightly overexposed. Good

'Advanced critique encouraged', sounds good. I'll start with the ups
I like the colours first of all. There are different kinds of lamp in this picture and the different light sets make it all interesting.
I also like that you managed to get some deepth into the picture by the displaced central perspective and the different levels object. The lightning is also situated in a way that draws attention to where attention should be.
Then i'ts a bit blurry. Try using a lower aperture, if you have a 10 sec exposure time with f 5.6 you should be able to use at least f 8 with a 30 sek exposure time and there is some differance to it. Also if you go physically closer to the picture and use a wide angel (i think it's eqv. with 36mm on your camera) you will get a deeper field of deepth.
About composition i can also say that a picture winns on not having the horizon in the middle of it. If you put the horizon higher or lower the picture will often become more interesting. Here i would place the horizon higher, look up the 2/3 rule, or golden cut rule i think it is also called. Let the least interesting part take only 1/3 of the space and let the interesting part take more room. So basically hide a bit of the sky, which is dull and show more of the interesting tracks and lights and houses.

Right now I'm a little bit limited by my camera .
I used the nighest f number availble on wide - 5.6 . If I use the optical zoom , I can get a slightly higher F , but I thought that I would lose too many details that way .
As for the composition , I definetly need to buy a tripod . I was on a bridge of some sort (can't find the right word now) and it's rail for support for my camera . So I couldn't really tilt it to put the horizon at 2/3 .
But there's one thing that I could have done better . I used different exposure and ISO settings . And the one in the middle , ISO 80 15 seconds got moved by a train passing under the brige .
And yes . I've found the critique very handy .

Ah . One more thing , if I may bother you again . I find this a little confusing so I want to clear it once and for all . By higher f you refer to a larger number or larger aperture (because if I remember rigth , as the number rises , the aperture closes) . Thank you
