Attempting to paint more animals.Err took around 2 hours (an hour a day for 2 days)
It has 3 layers all painted with water colours -
Base paint of brown where the cat is and blue where the background is.
A mushy shading of the cat with the colours used.
And then the hair lightly added over the top plus eyes,nose and mouth.
I'd like to thank who let me use their beautiful image to paint from.

Well, Some things that need a slight adjustment The cat looks a bit folded in, Maybe make it look more round, By turning the positions of the eyes, And the eyes need white reflections too, The nose is a tiny little bit off.
In general I love it! The painted look is brilliant And it's really realistic! I hope you do more Yay!

I completly agree about it looking folded in and missing the reflections. I'll bear them in mind if/when I do another
I'm still getting used to watercolours as I've been an acrylics girl forever so it's nice to know I'm at least on the right tracks lol
