Well, it's not Obama that we should be concerned with, but rather it's the forces trying to promote excessive spying on people and Corporations willing to trade money for lives.

Yes. That is a concern, but it doesn't mean corporations own the government, but they do have a certain amount of influence because lobbying is dependant on who has how much money. This is a problem, though in theory, it's all about freedom of speech because all kinds of organizations get to have a say in the government. To counterbalance this, all lobbying is public, so if the people don't like or want something an organization wants the government to do for them, they're gonna step up the plate. What's been going on, from SOPA to PIPA to TPA is evident to this.
