Description My dwarf work in colors.. again my laptop lacks good colors so ill have to make some enchantments back home
not entirely happy for the result but there are good parts too

I tried to do some different things for my fantasy world - like the 'Yamajin', the Mountain Folk.... A culture of kinda tibetan-like dwarves. The Tibet when they where an *Empire* specially...

It's own of those tidbits of history that make you go 'woah...' - the Tibetans used to have armies, warriors, kings even... a small empire who touched around like the eastern regions of 'core china', making the Tang(I think) dynasty uneasy and shivering at times... Quite a feat for an ingrate homeland base.

Supposedly, they had good steel, good weapons...

So, mixing the classic dwarven stuff, indian, nepali, cultures some, based on a 'gold dwarf' model à la FR, here are the Yamajin. Martial, divine and psionic power sources heavy, kinda alien culture for common westerner dwarves...

That's some seriously groovy armour he's got there, and the colours look tremendous - I especially like the crackly lightning effect around the hammer. Fab!

hi sorry for the late reply.. i used some crack brushes to the armor on top of the flat colors and then shaded it normally

kiitoksia taas! joo olen tuota ohjelmaa testaillut, mutta meinaa olla hankalaa saada ohjelmaa ajettua ittelle sisään, kun on oppinu tuota photoshop cs:ää käyttämään.. haave olisi joskus saada painterilläkin tehtyä töitä varsinkin tuo öljyväripuoli olis hienoa saada onnistumaan..

I agree, the armor texture is really nice. And I understand your laptop doesn't have the best colors, is that to say you didn't mean for him to have pink accents? Then again, who is going to bitch to him about wearing pink???? He'll take you out at the knees!
