Description
This is the cover of D.M. Paul's latest book in the "One Wizard Place" series. I have never painted a dragon with four wings before so it was kinda interesting.Doug will be a guest at this year's Dragon Con, so if you are lucky enough to attend, be sure to check out his patch.

Oh and Oakendragon, it was real tricky creating a pose with four wings without it looking all over the place! The scale and shape of the wings can make any dragon image a compositional nightmare, diverting the eye in unintentional ways, so I spent quite a while playing around with the forms before hitting on this balanced setup. And of course with covers you always have to take the text into consideration too. Glad you liked it at any rate
