I'm working on a looser style than my older works and want to get away from any 3D use for a while. This is a little test I set myself working without any reference, textures or special brushes (which I dont tend to use anyway). 100% Photoshop.All comments are welcome, and thanks for viewing. [

Although I've never been a huge fan of apartment block tall mechs, those just look awesome. A welcomed change of paces from the old school gundamn style.

Cheers! I know what you mean about big mechs. I love Gundam but I tend to think the Mechwarrior series is more realistic in terms of hardware for large mechs. Powered armour battlesuits like the Landmates in Appleseed are way more practical tactically as there is a lot more cover and not everything else on the battlefield would start to shoot you as you appeared on the scene.
