A stream through the forest (Barron Pass) on our way up to Frenchman's Cap. This was to be our last water for a couple of hours so we filled up our water-bottles here (and I took this photo!)Related content

Yes, long exposure. Truth is I really had no choice as the shutter speed in this light was quite slow (longer than 1 second).

I am just starting to learn all this. I found a 2nd hand (but in tip top condition) Nikon D70s & am loving the feel of a REAL camera!
I have joined the local camera club & was out last night & tonight taking photos of light trails, which as you would know, involves slow shutter speed. Was a LOT of fun! I'm sure the traffic passing thought my daughter & I were bonkers on the side of the highway in the dark with a camera & tripod.
