Description Plowing through the snow on the plateau in front of Berg Lake mid october last year. This part was actually quite easy to walk. The snow wasn't deep and the ground was even. I liked my friend in this picture as the only human being in this vast land, plowing her way through the scape of snow and ice. More of an adventure photograph than a landscape one.

Location: Berg Lake, Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada

Feines Schneepanorama.

Indeed and during this time of the year it actually felt like an adventure! Apparently this place is very busy in summer.

It must be so silent there.

It was very silent in general, yes. Just the snow crunching under our feet. Well, except for the avalanche that came down to the right of this picture about 20 minutes earlier? It was a small one but still quite loud and scary.

There are still some places where people are small, thankfully.
