Kinda reminds me of the Black Riders (Ringwraiths) from Lotr. Awesome painting, i love how it's mostly dark or reddish, but with little hints of green in the forground, kinda makes it seem like the colors get sucked out of the scenery by the rider. sorry, this is probably a dumb question, but is the rider evil? or just lost and decayed or something? never read the books...but now i'll have to go find them! great job!

The Wizard Anthologies is not a book 
the rider is not good or bad, but is part of that forest,, don't ever cross with him.

This picture has an amazing atmosphere. I love the way everything seems decayed and forgotten. I've never read the books, but it makes you wonder what is the story behind it...

It seems to be like standing in the fantasy world.

If I had to sum this painting in just a couple of words, those would be: "magnificent" and "atmospheric."
This evokes old memories. When I first saw this, I immediately thought of a passage in a story set in the wood, passing through a section of the forest where mist masks beauty and gives it a ghostly appearance. In my mind, the vegetation is denser, more . . . alive, but the mood is the same, the appearance too.

this reminds me of the scene from Drive Angry, where the reaper/FBI agent comes over the bridge in the begining, symbolizing him crossover over from one world to the other.
