With apologies to Stanley Lau, I'm afraid he has been overtaken as my favourite artist by Shigenori Soejima!This is a bit of speed-painting starting to get to grips with his style. It's a complete rip off ("tribute") of one of his pieces (virtually a copy apart from the fact that I was rushing too much to copy it exactly!).
Character is Aigis from Persona 3. Hopefully I'll actually do something artistic and draw one of my own characters in this style soon rather than just ripping off others' work ;D

My workflow is a bit old-fashioned! First, I sketched in pencil, then inked it by hand - rubbed out the pencil lines and scanned in. Usually I would then ink it AGAIN (only digitally the second time round in Photoshop), but this time I just cleaned up the scanned lines a little and left them in.
