Here in the US, we confuse the word Buzzard with Vulture, thinking of them as synonyms. We often just lump the birds that are actually Buzzards in with the Hawks. We are a confused country!Β

He's a handsome boy.Β He has a very intense eye that is so different from the dark eyes of the older hawks.Β

His eyes took a long time to get as yellow as they are. They will take a long while to go dark I believe!
