I know, the gear for them is ridiculous. It is so tiny. Someday it might be fun to fly one as a second bird. I would still want to have a "real" hunting bird besides like and RT or something. They are a pain in the butt to trap though. They bump so easily and they just hover over the trap.

There are two that live on my street. Every time we drive passed they bump, then go right back to the same spot. I think it would be pretty fun to fly one too, but I agree, I would need a bunny hunter. I like to think of them as carnivorous parakeets. Its funny to think most of our birds EAT more than they weigh!

He was the first male I have seen up close. He was really cool to meet.
