ARTISTIC POINTERS:
I draw attention to the rapier with warm light to emphasize how the sword is handled in a symbolical manner: Upside-down. In cultural and religious belief is that when a sacred or emblematic item is positioned upside down it portrays antagonistic sentiment in a way it associates with evil, malignant or malevolent forces. Body posture inspired by Japanese horror movies; looking contorted, twitchy, decrepit and 'creaking', like those ghost in The Ring and The Grudge. The warmth emanate from the rapier somewhat portrays that it retains purity and it 'weeps' for it handler and begs for her to wake up, hence the 'snowy' looking 'tears'. The colour palette attempts to depict tonal atmosphere of evil and haunting possession, it has this washed-out monotonal feel of ambiguity. Exaggerated and dramatized gown is to give this 'ghostly' effect. -------

Welp, I always wondered, since Zelda is so powerful, she always gets beaten by Ganondorf. But Ganondorf always gets beaten by Link. And I doubt if Zelda was actually unleashed, Link would stand a chance. So, is that like a Bulbasaur-Charmander-Squirtle relationship where one beats another?
Anyway, amazing artwork.

The emotions and feeling this piece gives its just...Twilight Princess had awesome textures in it and next to Wind Waker and Ocarina of time, one of my fav games. This drawing just adds to the awesomeness of the game. LOVE IT!

This is simply amazing. I was hoping you'd do a rendering of a character I'm familiar with. You've captured her demonic like trance, that lack of consciousness the game intended to create. The tears you were referring to don't stand out very much. I only noticed because you mentioned it. Good addition

Perhaps it more of figurative tears, but that's just my interpretation as cold steel looks right to weep snowy looking stuff

Ironically, I tend to keep my Nintendo art at high level when Nintendo as you know it isn't the stuff of high-def.
That in some paradoxical manner allows heaps of headroom for artists to inject their own world into it, hence heaps of these masterclass looking Ninty artworks you see around - I only hope to be there one day
Yes, wish you got TR sooner, unless you aren't the hype-loving type of guy then it's fine, I mean most peeps moved on from discussing a meaty portion of the game.
Anyway, Crystal Dynamics is working on a sequel; funny, I don't want her to become the 'old' her if you know what I mean, then again rumor has it that the sequel starts of right where she left in the current game, so she shouldn't changed that dramatically. I don't care if she's Nathan Drake's (Uncharted) long lost sister, I adored what she has going right now.

March was packed though! Β I wanted one PS3 game and one 3DS game, and I got Bioshock and Luigi's Mansion in March, then Castlevania and omb Raider on my birthday.
I'm getting annoyed by my brother though. Β Every time I make progress in the game, he has to take the controls EXACTLY where I am and play past me, ruining all the surprises, as it's not like I want to leave him alone in my room to plug a heating pad in the computer's power strip and kill my spea-oh wait.

Intriguing.Β The style and color portray what Zelda's mind is like. The way her body is positioned really shows how much she is a puppet. The sword looks like it has shadow power in it, and is emanating from it.

Yup, you can say the color palette is the manifestation of Zelda's aura - the surrounding is engulfed by this malignant force
But the tricky part is to make it 'beautiful' as well, so I try giving this 'renaissance' feel to it for elements of majestic-ness in some ways lols
