the problem lies on how they raise and slaughter the cattle.. i donΒ΄t think itΒ΄s a bad thing to eat meat but the way it is being produced these days really make me stay away from it

I haven't updated the description, I'm vegan now... I wouldn't think that eating animals would be nearly as bad if it weren't for the way we treat them, yeah. human beings used to hunt animals for necessity. now we birth, raise, exploit and slaughter them for the sole purpose of our comfort.

It's not "natural", "normal" or kind
The flesh you so fancifully fry
The meat in your mouth
I gave it up a couple of years ago, (I still shamefully eat fish)

quite lucky in the UK to have a company called the Redwood Wholefood company - you get fishless fingers that are vegan, scampi style pieces, salmon pate with no salmon
and it all really does taste very very similar - the texture is slightly different though - only very slightly

yeah, I'm lucky to live in Sweden, we have a lot of veggie-food (although a lot of it has egg & milk, but that's still ok for me since I'm not a vegan, & I'm part-veggie of political reasons)
& about fish, unfortunatly I just started school in a town reknown for their fish :-/

i think most places nowadays have good access to healthy food - i'd have hated to be a vegan 20 years ago living off thin air!!
