thank you very much, I have been kind of missing too, this past week, blizzard, then loosing my job, then another snow storm, been kind of a roller coaster of a week lol. No worries though, now that I will be vacationing for a while ha ha, I will have time to catch up. Very welcome of course, love it, its a great work and scene

I am actually pretty ok with it, I hated working there so I am optimistic that this is for the best. he upped and sold the business, we had no idea, so at least I was not the only one. I am actually looking forward to loafing around for a month or so before I start looking. You know the saying, when one door closes, another opens, so I think it will be better for me in the long run. I agree, its always nice to get different views or even to share the same view on art, its part of what this DA community is about, which is why I am here more than fb, at least here, there are more that are interested in the same things I am

Thank you my friend, but my work mostly is 80% photoshop (using stock) and 20 % paintwork (some retouching and hairpainting) . With my method i use everybody could achieve this look ( how the model is retouched. I also use at least 1 gradientmap adjustmentlayer and often up to three, to achieve the colors and the mood. Your style and work is as good as mine, personally i don't see difference in the skilllevels we have.

I have started using gradients, and just painting color in on different
blend modes. That works well too. 
to the overall look of your work that I haven't seen anywhere else. It

Oh, thank you, the tips were great, especially the brushes, I love them. But I must admit I´m not very successful in creating the painted look, need a lot more practice
