As great joy of knowing FF7 is now remake, I wish Square would possible consider FF9 in their option, too (but nope, don't think so. *curl up at the corner and drink my own tears*). ;___; really miss these two and their adorable stories!

It took me 11 years to beat FF9 and tonight I finally beat it. I have to say it's my fave RPG of all time and it still feels fresh 15 years after its release. I wish ff9 got a remake too.Β

Maybe it's for the best that they won't make a remake of FF9. FF9 was the game I enjoyed paying the most and I don't think any remake would satisfy me. Especially since all of the recent FF instalments have disapointed me so. But that's just my humble opinion.

Well all of the games 9 on down are possibilities. But for the longest 7 was a now until their supporters funded the whole project and asked sweetly. So hence the 7 remake. It is 7 with a visual upgrade and as far as 9 if the right supporter comes along and asks nicely that can have a remake as well. So keep your hopes up and get supporters. I am one of them since 9 is my favorite. It never hurts too much to ask!

You know, there are actually a great number of people that would like to have a remake of this game (me included). SquareEnix usually takes their fans opinions seriously (of course, after annoying them too much just like we did with FF Type-0 and the FF VII remake), so if we show them that we really liked a remake of FF IX (and possibly FF VIII), they would be willing to do it in the future. 
Let our voice be heard for a remake of this wonderful game, that in my opinion deserves it much better!
Aside this little/big comment, I almost cried of joy when I saw this drawing of yours. I miss playing this game.

As for a remake, I'm afraid they will ruin it if they remake it. I really don't like Zidane's voice in Dissidia. It's very...hmm...not Zidane. I liked being able to imagine their voices much better.

I also love ff9 is my second favorite after ff7, but...you know ff7 deserve the remake more than the others because of the graphics and fails and bugs it has and also the translations full of mistakes, etc. And because is the favourite of more people.
ff9 was a beautiful game and have decent graphics and overall is in good conditions, more than ff8 too. So if they have to do another remake ff5-ff6 deserve it more because the graphics and etc.
I love all of them will had a remake but I cryed so much for one of ff7...now is the time.

Ff9 was cursed from the beginning, they actually wanted to skip 9 cause they ran into road blocks at every turn and focus on 10. I think 9 gives them a sour taste, so we'll have to beg for a remake though it sounds like they will be redoing five and so before we see that. I will cry if we get what we've been waiting for!

I agree, I'm glad fans of FF 7 are getting their remake, and I hope for them that it's done well and stays true to the original. However, I too would much rather have FF 9.
But enough of that, on to the amazing artwork! Watercolors, right? I really like the gold touch to the highlights and your use of clear cold shadows (that aren't too dark) I think you really managed to capture the characters with style.
