My first Deviation... muahahahahaha!! At any rate, this is the only piece of artwork that I have on me, in the lab right now still working on this on going CG animation demo of mine. I did this piece about a year ago, probably more, while I was still employed with Dreamwave as a colorist. I really wanted to start doing some penciling and have some complete works of mine, rather that just having colored someone else's art. This one took me a while to do, I had gotten advice from my friend Joe, who suggested certain things to make the design more dynamic and not so stiff. I designed Bumblebee with a more updated look, with the new VW in mind. Did the penciling in maybe 3 hours including rough and then cleaning up, and coloring took me about 5 hours, because i werked on it on high res. which made my comp chug chug chug like a choo choo train...lol Well here it is, comments and crits welcome.
