Heh, I plan to. I'm just an early starter, but soon more commission work of my character will pop up. Black Friday really killed me, so wasn't able to set commissions with a lot of people. With every paycheck though, I should have another chat with another talented person.

Heh, I'm no artist, I can only edit stuff and that's not worth anything at all. I got a job, so little bit here and there will go on a artwork or two until things get better on my end. Hopefully as my character gets a little bit more famous, some might consider an offer to do my character. I know one friend of mine has had some artist block, so that was a offer I'm glad they considered to.

Some stuff is from other artist that did work for me, while other stuff is edit material. The stuff I actually did is very small, like the comics, but still edit work using gaia Tektek. My story and photography is my only thing I really work on my own talents on.

Oh wow, I'm being watched by the BalloonPrincess, quite the honor. Thanks so much, this has been my character for two years now. Developed the name about 4-5 years ago. There's an interesting story and philosophy to the name that I've given my girl. I hope to make her well known around DA and it's groups. Purchasing commissions from a number of artist already, and plan on more in the near future. Hopefully my Zero will get to meet more of the other famous OCs that everyone sees artwork of almost on a weekly or daily basis. Ha ha!

Good characters take a while to make well ... though on occasion, you might stumble into an insta-favorite character who really endears the audience out there. And yes ... purchasing commissions will definitely help get the character out there. I personally recommend writing stories or roleplay the character.

Heh, I've been roleplaying this character for 2 years on a roleplay called MSF High. A roleplay website I was banned from because it went under new management and the new GM hated me. Used everything in his power to make sure I was gone for good. It wasn't right, and I feel like I have yet my characters die because of this. So my way of keeping them living, is through artwork on DA now. I've always had an interest in many types of artwork, and have always had an interest in getting my character out there among the rest that are becoming shinning stars among the types of groups. Now that I have more time, got a job, and chatting to the artist I have always admired for their skills. I'm now on the steps of hopefully becoming known and making friends along the way. I'm not much of an artist, but I do edit. I have made a few comics with character generators that I can work with. Made Gaia TekTek comics, and in the past used a Touhou character generator. I did type out a WG/Expansion story also recently, got the permission of 4 artist to use 5 well known OCs to my story. Hopefully I'll be making more stories in the future, but for now it's about the artist I can chat with and commissions I'm able to pay for. So far.... there's about maybe 8-9 artworks of my girl Zero Confidence.
Your character is pretty well known, so it's kinda amazing to me to have this chat with you. I have both an AIM or YIM if you would like to chat more, if you have either that is.

Sounds like a bit of what I went through on NeoTokyo and Nerima back in the height of their days in the 1990s. Since I was drunk the latter part of being around there and even on Lesbos, I always thought from back then I was not a nice person to say the least. I know when I was helping out with the administration of the first two mucks and Ase and I tried to put together a couple of mucks ourselves, I wasn't very nice to people ... but from times, you have to be firm and decisive when you are there. Not saying what the dude did to you was right, but that there's always something else going on.
I've gone to RPing on places like Tapestries, Dawn of BE, and Shangri-la much of the time. Three good mushes, run solidly from what I have seen, and also pretty friendly these days.

Unfortunately, I don't do the IMs any more. Mostly because of rude and mean people.
