Biography: Sayuri was born with incredible powers and this caused Orochimaru to become interested in her. To protect Sayuri from Orochimarus experiments her parents tried to escape to Konoha but they were caught by Orochimarus henchmen in the Valley of the End but before they were caught her mother put a invisible shield around her and hid her in the waterfall on the Land of Fire side. A day later an ANBU found Sayuri and instead of killing her, he brought her back to Konoha. The Third Hokage easily recognized how strong Sayuri was and left her in the care of the Anbu who saved her and his wife. Sayuri had the power of the white flame. She can generate and manipulate a white flame of higher heat and intensity that can incinerate objects in a matter of seconds. This flame can also have magical properties when mixed with strength and speed. She also has the power of the summoning technigue. Her father, Shin Takeda, trained her to control her powers as a child and he didnt tell her of her past until after the Chuunin exams. Shes very close to her parents and she has the highest respect to them.

Relationship with Shikamaru: She met Shikamaru at the academy's entrance ceremony and caught him taking a nap under the tree. Instead of waking him up by pouring water on him she sat down next to him and accidentally fell asleep. When he woke up he was shocked to see her there and had a huge blush on her face because of how "cute she looked". She sat directly in front of him in class and use to sneak glances at him and smile when Iruka-sensei was teaching., and his response was always him looking away frowning with a blush on his face. Because of her high intelligence she often challenged Shikamaru to different puzzles to see if she could beat him but she never could. He was the only one who she grew close to because he never questioned her about her powers. It wasnt until the Chuunin exams until they realized they're feelings for each other and ever since then they've been in a relationship.
