Another post! Frightening isn't it?Started drawing this on the bus while touring in D.C. and finished the lineart while flying back. Drawing on the bus is hard. ;_;
My tablet died while coloring this picture so the ENTIRE dragon was done with mouse. Oh well, still had fun coloring it anyway. ^_^
Done with pencil (too lazy to ink), Photoshop CS (editting), and Painter 8 (for coloring)
Took ... 20-30 hours? I don't know.

Your colouring skills and pencils are awesome! You must have a very kind scanner to make your pencil artwork come out as nice as this. *_* You have so much skills. And the background skills... >_<;; *has a hard time drawing clouds* o_O;;

I admire you and the kid challenging the dragon. Because if I was in either of your positions I'd perish. I love the sketchiness of it and I love the dragons color. This is the most amazing wife to the purple dragon ever. I love the sun and cloud behind his head and I like the mouth @_@. The outline around the guy is a cool effect and the skeletons are precious. The only complaint I have is the skin between the wing joints your lines went crazy in some parts.

Oh yeah, haha. I dunno why the penciling there is so hidious. I remember I drew that on the bus but I'm not going to make excuses cause now that I look back on it, the lines ARE crazy.

It's awesome! I really like the rough way you drew and colored the dragon. It gives kind of a dark and scaly feeling, yet at the same time it looks active and moving. And even though the dragon is definately the most noticeable thing in the picture, I like all the details you added in too.. the skeletons, the rocks, the clouds and sun in the background... the rocks almost look watercolored. Cool.
